James and Katie met in Fall 2007. They were placed as next door neighbors in their dorm at Montclair State University. James and Katie soon became good friends through different organizations on campus such as Montclair University Gamers, and the community service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. They bonded over their mutual fandoms and geekiness. After working together on many different events it became apparent that they made a great team. James and Katie began dating the next year on August 29th 2008. They both graduated MSU in Spring 2011. After a couple more years enjoying life,getting jobs,adventures,vacations, and seeing their amazing friends, James took Katie back to MSU for a visit. During that visit on April 14th 2013 James asked Katie to marry him. The following month they moved in together and started planning the big day!
